How we got our name
Why “Lambda”? It’s the Greek letter for wavelength, representing the light and sound waves at the core of our work. But when people struggled to pronounce it, Elizabeth suggested a clever fix: a lamb and the word “duh.” The logo caught on like wildfire, and today, our mascot—a white porcelain lamb affectionately named Duh—is a symbol of our approachable, jargon-free expertise.

2015 The Foundation
Ryan Durbin launches Lambda Audio Visual with a mission to bring professional-grade engineering and “Service-First” integration to Houses of Worship and local businesses throughout the Pikes Peak region.
2016 Branding & The Mascot
The “Lamb-Duh” branding is officially introduced to simplify the Greek name for the community. The company expands its footprint, becoming a trusted partner for regional offices across the Front Range.

Do you rent equipment or provide AV services for live events?
Lambda AV focuses exclusively on permanent system installations and ongoing equipment maintenance. We do not offer short-term hardware rentals, nor do we provide on-site technical staff or gear for live events. However, if your upcoming event requires temporary production support or gear rentals, we work closely with a network of trusted rental and live-production partners and would be happy to connect you with the right team for the job.
